My Bouquet - Real or Fake?

My original plan for my wedding bouquet was to go with eco-friendly silk flower bouquets... but my mom recently convinced me to try for REAL flowers from a local florist the day before. Well, just in case I won't be able to reserve pretty white flowers or I simply won't have time to pick them up, I can stick with my plan A! :)

Love the teal color of the ribbon wrap. :)

Happy Leap Year Birthday!

This birthday card is for my soon-to-be sister-in-law who's birthday is on 2-29. This leap year is the first year I get to wish her a real happy birthday! :) I whipped this card in about 5 minutes using Martha Stewart paper punches. Love her paper punches! :)

This was an easy to make Clover necklace. The clovers were on clearance in the Swarovski Crystal beading section! Only took me a few minutes to assemble! Love it!

Wedding Hairpiece

I made my own wedding hair piece!!!!! :) :) :)

I made it with a Rooster feather appliqué ($2 from Etsy) and I glued gunned 3 sets of Ostrich feathers ($4.50 on Etsy for 7-8 sets). I temporarily pinned a rhinestone brooch (about $5 from Michaels with coupon)... I looked around everywhere for one that was light, pretty and not pricey... just to cover the base of the Ostrich feather attachments. I had to yank a few Rooster feathers off the top of the appliqué because I thought it made the hairpiece look "too long". I looove the whimsical-ness of the Ostrich feathers!!! They're so wispy!!! An alligator clip was glued to back of appliqué so the hairpiece stays put in my hair. My fiancé was pretty impressed! David's Bridal sells these for at least $80!

I will not take a picture of it in my hair and post... It's a surprise for the big day!!!

Guest Sign In Book

I've been searching for an acid-free lignin-free black paged album for a while. I thought I had one in my "too-nice-to-use-now-so-save-for-later stash" but unfortunately it wasn't there. :( So what's the solution, as always? Make one yourself!!! :)

I kept the cover simple because post-wedding I might want to change it up.

Guests will take Instant photos, insert them into the photo corners and then leave us a love note with a white gel pen. :)

The back cover.

I finally got to use my embarrassingly few years old Bind-It-All machine for the first time! Love it! Wish I had used it sooner!!!

My inspiration? My new Smash book for my wedding knick knacks. :)
