Post Wedding Projects

#1 - Refurbishing this Cynthia Rowley 3 tier jewelry box that I got off the clearance rack at Marshall's for $15. I'm thinking of painting it bright teal... (inspired by my mother-in-law's painting skills) and adding a starfish recycled from my wedding. :)

Centerpieces

This was the "big vision" I had for MONTHS. For our wedding centerpieces, I envisioned tall cylinder vases partially filled with sand and seashells, then water filled up to close to the top, throw in one or two round floating candles.

Our first attempt at our centerpieces was an epic FAIL using real white sand. Real sand made the water murky. :( Round 2 worked nicely with fish tank sand. Crystal clear. :)

Bridal Bouquet - Calla Lilly

Voila! My BFF and Maid of Honor's bridal bouquet!!! Looks real, huh? Even Troy stopped to smell the fake flowers! :)

Boutonnières

Hand-made bleached peacock feather boutonnières for my soon-to-be hubby and my back-up best man :)

I have to give credit to my fiancé cuz this was his idea. :)

Table Place "Stones"

Phew! A busy, busy, busy day making all of my favors, doing laundry, running errands, e-filing my tax return, printing guest list, table name order list, and finally finished at 2am, the table place "stones". They look rather neat, don't they? I'm beat! Goooood night!

Wedding Favors

I finally got around to starting my wedding favors!!! I used the Cuttlebug Machine to cut out the white pillow boxes. I poured teal and cream m&m's into them. Wrapped the box with gold ribbon and fastened it down with fancy teal and white paper punches (Martha Stewart products of course!)... with a touch of faux pearl stickers!

I Do! Me Too!

I placed shiny gold letter stickers on the bottom of our shoes for wedding day... For some cute photo ops! :)

Guest Book Sign In... Sign :)

I doodle scripted the sign telling guests to leave a love note in out guest book... and framed it in a fab white picture frame that I picked up at Marshall's. I made Troy get in the picture since he was so close by. :P
